Salman compliments Elli
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's fondness for international beauties doesn't seem to end even after his break-up with Katrina Kaif. Wondering why? Well, here's the answer.
After offering an opportunity to teach Hindi to Bigg Boss contestant Elli Eviram and casually flirting with her on his show Bigg Boss 7, host Salman Khan was now seen comparing Elli to his ex flame Katrina Kaif.
Sources inform that in tonight's episode while interacting with the Bigg Boss housemates, Salman who was at his comic best pulled a small prank on the beautiful Elli. He told her that her upcoming film Mickey Virus with actor Manish Paul has already released and has been taken out of theatres. Elli, who always seems to fall prey to Salman's prank believed him.
Salman, who never misses to amuse his fans, asked Elli to render few Hindi dialogues from her upcoming film Mickey Virus.
The actress gladly accepted Salman's request and enacted two dialogues from the film. And if all this wasn't enough, Salman Khan then asked her to say some other dialogue from the film and the firang babe Elli went ahead to fulfill Salman's second wish. But the fun doesn't end here as the highlight of the evening was Salman's reaction after Elli rendered her dialogues. The Bollywood heartthrob told Elli that her Hindi reminds him of Katrina.
It seems that even though Salman maintains "we are friends" status with Katrina, the actor is not able to get over the Barbie doll.
Salman said, "Tumhara ye dialogue sunn kar mujhe 5 saal pehle ki Katrina yaad aagayi".
Salman's support helped katrina make a mark in Bollywood, is Elle the next Katrina in the making?
Yash Chopra was a fearless filmmaker: Shah Rukh Khan
Remembering film legend Yash Chopra on his 81st birth anniversary, Shah Rukh Khan said that the 'King of Romance' was a fearless filmmaker.
Shah Rukh, 47, who worked with the director right from Darr to his last project Jab Tak Hai Jaan, is all set to walk the ramp today to celebrate the late filmmaker's birthday.
SRK said Chopra was a mentor and someone who taught him a lot about cinema.
"As a person, he taught me creativity has to be fearless. You should make that film which your heart tells you to do. If it works then it's good and if it doesn't then also it is good. I am very fortunate that I worked with him for 20 years.
"I am the one actor who starred maximum in his films from the time I joined to his last venture. I am lucky to have the opportunity to have worked with the most fearless filmmaker that the country will ever have," the actor said at an event here last evening.
The Chak De! star, who is also a producer, said Chopra also gave him great production tips.
"One of the greatest learnings that I have learnt in terms of business from Yashji is that whatever you are making, the costs have to be kept in control and for that Yashji had worked really hard," he said.
Shah Rukh's last production venture "Chennai Express" is one of the highest grossers at the box-office.
Chopra, who made blockbusters like Waqt, Deewar, Silsila, Lamhe, Darr, Dil To Pagal Hai, Veer-Zara and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, died on October 21.

After his film Barfi, Anurag Basu has moved onto his next titled Jagga Jasoos, which will once again feature Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. The film is said to be a musical with a detective concept. The lead actress though was a mystery as numbers of names were being floated around.
However recently, Ranbir confirmed that Katrina would be seen opposite him, while the shooting of the film will commence in November.
Jagga Jasoos will be co-produced by Disney-UTV and Anurag and Ranbir's banner called Picture Shuru Productions. The film is expected to be a franchise.
