Kabir Khan's next movie with see Katrina opposite Saif Ali Khan
Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has been hoping to bag a movie with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor for long. But looks like no filmmaker is keen enough to cast them and cash on the real-life couple's chemistry.
As Deepika Padukone bags Imtiaz Ali's next with Ranbir, Katrina is left sulking.
From vacationing in Ibiza, Sri Lanka, to dining at posh restaurants and exchanging expensive gifts, Katrina Kaif is definitely ruling Ranbir's heart at the moment.
Curiously this proximity doesn't translate in the marquee, instead her rival and Ranbir's ex Deepika seems to be enjoying an advantage.
But Katrina has stopped nursing her wounds and moved on to sign her next with director Kabir Khan opposite Saif Ali Khan.
After working on two hit movies 'New York' and 'Ek Tha Tiger' with the actress, Kabir Khan is really fond of her and was adamant about roping her into his next.
Saif and Katrina will be working together for the second time after they shared screen space in Abbas Mustan’s 'Race'.
The upcoming thriller is inspired by contemporary geo-political events and will be shot all across the globe. Kabir Khan has been scouting for locations in and around Boston, London and also in the Gulf region.
If reports are to be believed the director has decided to shoot the first schedule in the Syria-Lebanon border.
The movie will go on floors in the first week of October and the entire team will fly to Beirut (Lebanon's capital) first and head to the border for the rest of the 15-days shooting schedule.
The film is to be written by Hussain Zaidi, a prominent crime writer in India whose scrupulously researched books have earlier been the basis of director Anurag Kashyap's 'Black Friday' and Sanjay Gupta's 'Shootout At Wadala'.
